FIABCI Portugal is proud to announce that it will be hosting the the December Business Meetings, a meeting that the Fédération Internationale des Administrateurs de Biens Conseils et Agents Immobiliers (FIABCI) in Lisbon, Portugal, November 30 to December 3rd, with a pre-event, on November 28 and 29 in Oporto.
This meeting is one of the two major annual meetings held by FIABCI, the largest real estate federation in the world, and is a rare opportunity to learn how the Portuguese property market resists the global financial crisis and how it has contributed to a sustained development of its economy.
“A reality that was evident in the debate on the sustainability of housing markets that the International Federation of Real Estate and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe organized in the month of January in Lisbon, with the support of the Association of Professionals and Companies Real Estate Portugal (APEMIP), which I chair and also because we are FIABCI Principal Member in Portugal.” says Luis Carvalho Lima, President of the FIABCI Portugal Chapter.
Luis further states that attendees of the December Business Meetings’11 in Lisbon will enjoy the privilege of receiving not only the traditional hospitality of the Portuguese but also learn of the size and the capacity of the Portuguese real estate sector, whose international focus is also visible in the role they play with the The Real Estate Confederation of Speaking Portuguese Countries (CIMLOP).

Can anyone share the differences between the Annual Congress and the Business meetings? I attended the Congress in Cyprus – very interesting, and am trying to decide if I should also go to Portugal. I went on the website to see the schedule, but could not access it.
Hi Joanne, the World Congress affords more social, education, and networking than at the Business Meetings. However, it’s still well worth attending and a fun filled event loaded with opportunity. I have the schedule from the 2010 Brussels Business Meetings that I can email to you if you are interested.
